Topshop Arabel Boots

black topshop Arabel Boots review photo
Topshop Arabel Boots (not online, but I got mine in store!)

I think it's pretty obvious I have love affairs with Topshop Boots on a pretty regular basis. I love so many pairs on the website and in store but I try and limit myself to one pair every 6 or so months. Both my much lovedTopshop Allegera's to the beautiful Alvin's have graced my feet more times than I care to even think about. Both on the high end of £80 each their cost per wear must have reacher the 10p-20p mark by now.

I've had the idea in my head that I needed to get some really masculine cut out boots for a while now. I like the whole mixture of masculine and feminine at the moment and I thought they'd be the perfect addition to my Boot collection. After a few almost's (these ones and these ones) and a purchase then returned (these) I finally settled on the Topshop Arabel Boots. The Arabel Boots are tough, rough and everything I wanted from a pair of summer boots. I know it's weird to consider boots summer wear but I wanted something that was tough that would perfectly balance out a girly summer dress. Things I love about them include the heel. The heel is spot on as it's really thick but the actual heel height is only 2 inches so perfect for everyday wear. The buckles add a little extra sumthin'sumthin' to them too which I just cant put my finger on. I love that the cut outs show a bit of ankle and they are so comfy… Oh sigh, I'm in love.

Roll on summer when I can wear these paired with girly dresses or floaty midi's to give it a punky edge. I've worn them in a few outfits (here and here) already and Im sure they'll be in many more to come!

PS. I'm currently away at Center Parcs but I've gone and scheduled some posts to keep you tided over until I make my triumphant return on Thursday! I'll try and get some snaps from when Im away too, I fancy doing a vlog as well!

  2. I actually really like these shoes! They look kind of unique! I've wanted a pair like these but in the "boots version" if you know what I mean :) I'd really like them if they were kind of ankle boots, but great buy!!

    Great post!

  5. These boots are almost exactly the same as the Balenciaga ones. I'm sure at a fraction of the price too. I know which I'd choose ;)

They're not really my style mind you, I can imagine they'll really suit you though :)

  23. Love these! I too have an obsession with Topshop boots and boots in general. I am down to about 15 pairs at the moment. Every now and then I'll give a pair to the charity shop when I'm having a sort out. If I had a dressing room I would keep them all. After seeing your new boots though I am need of a trip to Topshop to buy some new ones :) Katie B @ Minerva Collection – Fashion Handbags & Fashion Jewellery

  32. These really remind me of the Jeffrey Campbell Coltranes but with a little less clomp to them. I love my Coltranes but they are quite hard to wear, these might have done the trick a little better!

  38. NEED these, they are amazing can't have enough black boots. I have a pair I bought years ago from urban outfitters and still wear them, they last ages so it's worth the money. I just need money in the first place lol.

  40. These are yummy, i've got some similar from AllSaints but I work there so didn't pay, otherwise, they make these look cheap, £185 in comparison to £80 is nothing! Have fun in Centre Parcs, I love it, it's so relaxing:)

  46. Oh gosh they are mighty fine! Was very very tempted to get some beautiful cut out boots in Topshop in January, alas commen sense prevailed when I considered the constantly miserable wet Irish weather. Walking around with wet feet is not fun. I settled for the classic Chelsea boots but my god do I still crave them, even more so after seeing this post! :)

  47. I love these boots so much! Had my heart set on some asos ones that were a little higher and more 'cut-out' but they sold out! So upsetting!!!
