Christmas Eve
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house, nothing was stirring not even a mouse.
So I’m going to sign off for the next few days, for obvious reasons that Im sure you guys don’t need me to spoon feed you. I really hope you all have a wonderful holiday period no matter what you are celebrating or what you are doing.
As you read this I’m officially driving home for Christmas. I can’t wait to be back with my family and just… you know being home! Theres something about being back with my parents that I just can’t put into words. Im staying with my Dad this year but spending Christmas with my mother. For me I just can’t wait to spend time with my brothers, I’ve missed them all so much this year and it’s going to be awesome to actually spend a few days with them in the countryside without the hassle of London.

The clutch was a bit of an impulse Black Friday purchase (see the rest of my Black Friday haul here) but I do absolutely LOVE it. It's so OTT but classy and fun all at the same time. The colour makes me feel like some sort of Disney princess or something!
This kinda combo is something I'll be rocking to drinks with friends in the evening, paired with a sleek all black outfit for ultimate cool girl points. You could even desk to dinner them if you switched out your day to day handbag and flats with this sparkly number and sexy stilettos.

how to wear glitter in the daytime
I've been thinking about the fact glitter just isnt for evening for a while now and then I came across this Monki Jumper via ASOS and knew it'd be the perfect daytime glitter top. While incredibly sparkly and bordering on OTT this jumper could just as easily be worn during the day as it would be in the evening. Sparkles are totally daytime appropriate am I right? Plus if you cant wear daytime glitter in the festive period when can you?
Pairing sparkly pieces with winter wardrobe basics such a this gilet tones down the glitter and makes it look perfect for a glitzy look. I kept my bottom half basic with just a pair of trusty boots and some jodphur style trousers. When styling glitter in the day make sure you keep things neutral or even monochrome to really bring out the sparkle without making yourself look crazy over dressed!

I absolutely adore the super cool cut out style along with the on trend (but terribly cold) peep toe. Sleek, chic and the croc texture just added a little summit something that they needed to take them from cool to uber cool. I also love that the heel isn't too high, it's the perfect midi day time heel.
Unfortunately now Im getting around to writing about these shoes they have actually sold out on the Missguided website. They do have a few other pairs in their Lily range available or you could *cough*get them off ebay*cough*! Either way, love them as a AW shoe!

Changes @ ASOS
If you’re anything like me and somewhat more familiar with your postman than you’re neighbours then this might be of interest to you. Every ones favourite multibrand retailer are switching up their packaging. I was offered a sneak peek at the bags as well as the chnce to pick a few goodies from their current stock.
I order from ASOS on a weekly basis (no shame, ASOS Premier is the ONE) and their silver bags seem to litter my bedroom more than I care to admit. ASOS are currently upping their packaging game and are in the process of switching out all their old packaging for shiny new ones. The pattern sort of reminds me of those composition notebook patterns.
I picked few new things from their current selection to see their new packaging first hand. First up - A army style coat which I'd had my eye on for ages but never actually indulged in. I AM SO HAPPY WITH IT. Seriously one of my favourite coats I've got all year. Slouchy, menswear inspired and super military chic. I absolutely love it! I then choose a high necked dress which is also amazing. So flattering and retro and the thick knit fabric is perfect for the cooler months. I also picked a pair of boots called "Enter the Dragon" No idea why they are called that but they are off black leather boots (actually v. similar to my Vagabonds, but with a lower heel) that have a cool white stitch detail around the sole. I think they are so cute and perfect for the winter. Especially now my Vagabonds are on their last legs!
I know it’s a little silly to be excited about the bag your ASOS garmz come in but it’s a cool modern change for the brand that is seriously going up and up. Overall a pretty cool new rebrand for the ASOS Packaging. Much better than the brown cardboard boxes and simple silver packages!

what would suki do?
Suki Waterhouse became my hairsipiration earlier in the year and I've been pining after her signature fringe for so long. While I did get the chop in the front earlier in the year I left it to grow out without looking back. Fast forward a gloomy November day and I headed over to my local hairdresser to get it nipped back in. Im really happy with it (: Perfect rock n'roll bedhead kinda look that just fits so well with my day to day style. I keep waking up with the most ridiculous looking stuck up fringe but hey, it's worth it!
My weekend has been odd and I'll tell you about it soon but my life is a bit crazy right now. I have a major project coming to an end and Im also off to Berlin for one night this week. I've already written my blog content for the week as I just have so much to do. While I relish these busy periods in my life I often feel the need to be kinder to myself and not take myself too seriously. I like to think Im a pretty laid back but hard working person but then again I'm also one of the laziest people ever. Life's a funny ol' thing.
