tunic: H&M
shorts (not seen): H&M
rings: asos + H&M
nails: barry m spring green

You guys are the most supportive and lovely people ever! I got so worked up yesterday about this whole "your so skinny" debate yesterday. I don't see why people feel the need to hate on me I suppose this has been my first issue of trolling/haters so I presume I've made it as blogger now I've got haters! Sofia (who you should all go follow! So sweet!) linked me to this really great article on embracing the haters. I wont be addressing or answering anything related to it anymore! Oh well, Haterz Gonna Hate! *does the walk*

On to the outfit. I love this top from H&M. I saw it and instantly bought it as well as a polka dot one, in the same print as that H&M polka dot t-shirt I have. To me its the perfect inter-seasonal piece, Long sleeved, lightweight and a good length. In the winter I'll layer it up with things and at the moment I'd wear it with sheer tights and flats! I was wearing shorts underneath to hide my bum, but you cant see them really! Although I might wear them with leggings, or is leggings with long tops a no-no still?

I think I'm going to go on a spending diet, I really need to sort my finances out, Not that I'm running low, I've just not been saving enough as I like to, I know August is an expensive month for me, what with festivals, my car needing to be MOT'ed and paying my car insurance. I'm probably going to London for a few days with Ivor and I'm determined to travel more and visit my friends. I've got so much clothes, But always feel like I have nothing to wear! I wish I was more thrifty!

  3. I tried to say something on your formspring but I got so ranty, that I ran out of characters, haha. But the basis of it was, who cares what the haters say? At least you're promoting a healthy image - somebody who eats, & who works out to get fit the REAL way, tone up & most importantly, stay healthy! We need more real girls like this. I work out every day & I run because I like it, but mostly I have to do it because I like to eat whatever I want, & if I didn't exercise, I would be a hellofalot bigger. Even when I lost a stone through exercise, nobody believed that I had done it through exercise & thought I was "starving myself" or whatever, it's totally frustrating. I'm nowhere near skinny - nor do I want to be, or ever will be (broad shoulders, big bones, etc.) - I just wish people would stop being so critical & worry about themselves, not others (unless we're like, dying of skinny or anything!)

Sorry for the rant. I hope you can relate though! On a different note, I totally need to go on a spending diet too. I'm thinking of experimenting with 10-12 items for a month & see how many different ways I can style them up. Maaaaaaaybe.

  21. Window-shopping on the Topshop site, I saw this peter-pan collar and thought of you: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33057&storeId=12556&categoryId=216497&parent_category_rn=208491&productId=1860550&langId=-1

I really look forward to new LLYMLRS posts coming up on my googlereader! And re: the haters - it's so often said, but they really are just jealous. I was wowed by how naturally good-looking you are in your YT video, and it takes a lot of nerve to put yourself out there like that.

    Keep blogging!

  31. You always have the knack of picking things up I wouldn't usually try on, and make it look fab! I can totally see why you snapped this up, it's such a great fit.

Re the haterz... haven't seen a few posts of yours until today, but maaan I can't believe people can be so darn rude. I'm assuming they chickened out and were annonymous too? They obviously have nothing better to do other than bitch. Really. There shouldn't even be a waif/curvy debate, the best thing about blogging is entirely what I love about this post - that bloggers showcase clothes on REAL girls, so much more realistic than skinny mannequins or 'plus-size.' It's realistic and you are rightly so to be proud of that!
