One of my all time favourite places to go for casual lunch, date or a easy breezy dinner is PIX. PIX is the bar equivalent to a picnic in a park or a BBQ spread - Lots of little bits to pick at as you please over cocktails. The food is a mix of croquettes, manchego cheese, olives, meatballs, quails eggs, patatas bravas, frittata and baguettes. Plates are constantly changing as the night goes on so keep your peepers out for new items. I love picking at food and trying a bit of everything so it makes PIX the perfect location. I've been to a few of the different PIX locations and I found them all to be quite dark and mysterious but not in a bad way. It makes the place feel secluded and hidden away but I do admit when it gets busy it can feel crowded. The staff are pleasant and were very helpful with getting drinks and replenishing the food. How much you spend depends on how many plates you have as each stick is priced at either £1.95 or £2.95. It's pretty flexible depending on your budget. 3-4 plates for lunch and maybe a few more for dinner. We booked online, but normally you can walk in and grab a table, but definitely book at weekend.
