MAC Groundwork Paint Pot, Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer*, Kiko Kajal Eyeliner*, Kiko Lounge Nights Palette*, Laura Mercier Fire Glow and Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze*
For some reason over the past few weeks, this has become my go-to makeup look. Inspired by Brodie Dalle ala The Distillers times I’ve been opting for really smoked out brown eyeshadow. Taking it super low and right around the eyes for the ultimate punky grunge look. I tried not to use too much black as I didn’t want to throw back to my teenage years and create something a little more refined while also having that “smells like teen spirit” feel to it.
The key to this look is layering up different cream and powder textures to get that lived in look. The mix of texture gives it that lived in feel but also intensifies colours. I used a mixture of MAC Groundwork Paint Pot, Guerlain Terracotta Bronzer, Kiko Kajal Eyeliner, Kiko Lounge Nights Palette, Laura Mercier Fire Glow and Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze. I kept adding and blending out and then adding some more until it looked right. Blending is such must for looks like this. Blend, Blend, Blend and then blend some more. You want it to look super soft with no harsh edges. To make myself look like I’ve just rolled out of bed I have to spend ages blending and adding product... Makes sense! #beautygirllogic!
