For my base in the Spring time I like it too look natural, fresh and illuminating. I don't really like the dewey finish so I've been lemming towards to Jouer Matte Moisture Tint in the shade Nude. This is a one of a kind matte tinted moisturiser that leaves my skin looking flawless, evened out and natural. It's so light on the skin it feels like you aren't wearing anything at all. I love the brightening and glowy finish it gives to the skin. It just feels fresh without being dewy which is right up my street. To conceal my under eye bags (which are really bad at the moment) I recently purchased the By Terry Touche Veloutte in Shade 2. This is an absolute dream to use and really illuminates my under eye area while neutralising any darkness. For my cheeks I've been religiously using a recent Nars addition which is the Nars blush in Gina. It's a beautiful true coral peach powder blush that pops the cheeks and brings loads of warmth and freshness to the skin. It's something I'd highly recommend checking out if you're in the market for a new go-to blush. So easy to wear and such a beautiful shade.
While I like to keep my brows groomed at all times, but I've stopped filling them in as dark recently and been opting towards brow gels to set the hair in place. To do this I just use a clear mascara like the Natural Collection Clear Mascara which retails for the bargain price of £1.99. While not the best clear brow gel I've used the cheapness makes up for it! For lips I've been loving corals, peaches and nudes. My pick is probably the Sleek Makeup Lipstick in Peaches and Cream. Which funny enough I've had had this for ages but never reached for it until recently. It's a punchy coral shade with a creamy opaque finish. Comfortable to wear, bright enough to be worn day or night this is a really multi use shade.
What sort of makeup do you tend to go towards in the spring? Is it a whole makeup shakeup or like me, do you adapt your usual look for a new season with some new products?
