I did this outfit last week but didn't get around to posting it as I ran out of time to edit it. I wore my new American Apparel floral jumper dupe that I got off ebay for less than £15 along with an actual dress from American Apparel. I love this Nylon Tricot skater dress, it's the perfect item to chuck on under a jumper or a top as the flirty skater style is perfect. I which they did actual skirts in this material (Im sure they used to!) but for now this will do. At an eye watering £40 it really wasn't cheap but I do love it and wear it all the time!

  20. I find American apparel a really odd ago, I have quite a few pieces from there and I do wear them a lot but when you think about it the items they sell are really basic - no luxe prints or patterns, and not really adventurous designs, so why the expensive price tags?

    I really like this outfit though, im so addicted to black!

  65. Jumper looks great. I did spend the money and buy the American Apparel one last year. However, I don't get nearly as much wear out of it considering what i spent on it and it is REALLY HEAVY and uncomfortable. So you definitely got a bargain there. I was going to invest in the disco pants but bought the Primark ones instead and i think they are just as good. AA is extortionately priced.
