skirt: romwe *
body: new look
rings: jwlry & love hearts and crosses *
nails: models own top turquoise *
Im kinda bummed that my beloved Romwe skirt's pleats have come out. I've washed it a few times before and they always ironed back flat, but for some reason it wont got back properly this time. Pfft. I think its sold out now too, Shame because its one of my favorites! I'm going to ask my Granny if she has any tips for sorting out pleats, as I presume shes clued up on things like this being old and all. Other than that I just wore my big pink cardigan and a studded body from New Look. Both went into sale so I doubt you can still buy them.
I always get asked if X Y Z item is still in the shops, most of the time the things I wear on here are new/recent, Apart from the odd thing that I wear alot. I've just been so inspired by the clothes at the moment I haven't bought anything for a at least two/three weeks. Transitional dressing is always a pain in th bum, but everything I see in stores is either over priced or really not *THAT* nice. I had to force myself to look through Topshop earlier to see if there was anything (apart from all the LOVELY boots they have!) I wanted, but nope, ended up closing my window down.

lily you really are the cutest thing ever and this cardi looks perfect..could wear it with anything xx
ReplyDeleteI love that body! I have the tank top version but really prefer the 3/4 length sleeves. That cardigan is lovely too. Xo

ReplyDeletePleats are actually very easy to sew! So I'm sure your grandmother could help you out ;)
ReplyDeleteBut I had having to wash nicer skirts/dresses/etc myself that have things like pleats. I don't want to ruin them! ...but I'm too cheap for dry cleaning haha
Great look, great photos!
I really love the body, its really pretty, especially with the skirt. Regardless of the pleats.

if you wash your skirt and then fold the material into pleats, and leave it to dry with the pegs in, they can sometimes come back. at least that's what i used to do with my primary school skirts!
ReplyDeleteI agree, I've had a £35 Topshop giftcard in my purse since APRIL and I still can't find anything to purchase. I'm not sure if it's my age but I find everything so expensive now!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I haven't read any blogs for months and months so I'm probably really late, but your hair looks amazing. Seriously. I wish my hair could go as wavy as yours :)
