Oh H&M summer dresses I love thee. Cheap and cheerful! This one is a particularly delish pattern. Lighting is failing me so hence the snippets of a outfit post, Will probably do a proper one when I have more time as I do really adore this dress! I started a new tag though for these kinds of posts, I think they will be more just items and things I've bought rather than full blown outfit posts, sometimes I want to show you guys things but cant be bothered to go the whole hog (god I'm crazy lazy at the moment!) and do the normal outfit post or write about things. Im all for structure and things like that so I dont like to go too far away from my standard outfit post look. Im weird and a bit OCD about it. Sue me.

Tonight I'm ombre-ing my hair again, so much for going blonde, I really dont think I can be bothered with all that effort. Im also going to fake tan and work out how to dress up as Simba from the Lion King for fancy dress night out next weekend in Cardiff. Any suggestions are welcome!

  8. Oh golly golly I love that print!

    Google pics of the lion king theatre production for inspiration. I say this because I can't think of anything myself other than backcombing and hairspraying to the max. And I guess the stuff your wearing in these pics is along the right sorta line colour wise?

    And I love you ombre-hair, you shouldn't change it for the world!

    As for the Simba outfit, backcomb your hair loads, draw on whiskas and a nose with eyeliner. I'm not sure what outfit you could actually wear though! Make sure you post a photo of it!

  18. H&M dresses are brill. I would go all out with make up like the 'cats musical!! My friend was young simba in the lion king musical, pics of that are good examples!! Add long lashes to make it purrfect! haha x

  20. Love your dress, is it this seasons? H&M always do such good things on the cheap, haha! +oooh, i keep wanting to ombre my hair but back out at the last minute! I want it done before summer properly kicks in:'). +oooh, the only thing i can think of is lots + lots of eyeliner!!xxx

  21. You should take an old headband and glue on some fake orangey coloured fur from the fabric/craft store for a little mane. That would be adorable :)

  47. H&M can be a bit hit and miss for me, but sometimes you can find real gems like this summer dress. It's adorable, and perfect for the gorgeous weather we've been having. I love the idea of these 'snippets' focusing on small details, like the print of the dress and the colour of your necklace against the lemon/tobacco colours, rather than posting a whole outfit post.

  51. This is gorgeous :) so pretty, and the pattern is lovely. I really need to make the effort with H&M, mine is a bit on the crappy side and takes a lot of looking around- but you & others seem to find some gems, so I must bare with it.

    I can't believe it's from H&M, we have one in Telford but I just think it's a bit rubbish cuz I never find anything this nice! Maybe I just don't look hard enough... it's suits you so well tho :-)
