The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in coral: £16*
After going off blusher a bit towards the end of the year, I saw myself stopping rouge-ing up in favour of a light contoured cheek. On a whim while rummaging through my to-review box I picked out theThe Body Shop Shimmer waves in Coral and applied it to my cheeks. It quickly became my cheek of choice and has barely left my face since.

Shimmer Waves have 5 different shimmery waves of colour designed to give the face a sun-kissed glow. Coral has for shades of orangey pink and one pale champagne colour designed to be the highlight. Each wave is fairly shimmery but nothing gritty or glittery. You can use them alone (even though I think that's quite hard considering they are only small) or swirled together. Depending on how dark your skin tone is this might not actually show up that well as it is very "barely there" on my skin tone. I find it adds a subtle pop of warmth to my skin without adding too much colour but giving me a sort of glow from within type look.

While I haven't tried the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, I can't compare the product to them. Although from the look and name you can deduce that its fairly similar to the iconic Shimmer Bricks. So I'm sure you could draw some dupe comparisons with it. None the less, It is quite highly priced at £16, which shocked me a little as I really expect it to be that much. It is of exquisite quality though so I cannot fault it on that.

The Body Shop Shimmer Waves come in 2 other shades of Bronze and Pink which I am yet to try, but they do look lovely in what I've seen in photos. In all, I absolutely love this product. If you have similar colouring to me, then it's ideal to perk up your skin without adding too much colour with the added bonus of a bit of glow. A solid recommendation for this from me!
