No, I haven't lost the plot, using a lip balm as a highlighter is a thing! This might be a bit of a weird idea, but hear me out. Backstage at London Fashion Week I saw that Sharon Dowsett was using Maybelline Babylips on the models to create the most natural gorgeous dewy cheek.
I tried it out in this video if you want to see it in action, but all I did was lightly dab some of the Menthol Baby Lips on the tops of my cheek bones to give a lived in dewy finish that didn't feel sticky or gross at all. I was super skeptical about it when I saw it in practice, but I actually love it and have been using this technique for the past few weeks. It might be a little too dewy for oilier skinned gals, but it's worth trying out if you're looking for a cheap alternative to highlighter!
