la colours circuits, ebay nail gemsmini tweezers`

This is a really quick slick manicure for when your in a hurry but fancy a bit of nail pizazz. A 3D jewelled manicure is a subtle way to add a touch of glamour and is so simple to do. First I laid down an opaque black base coat, I used La Colors Circuits. Considering this was 99p from Beauty Bay I was impressed with its dry time and opacity. I only used one coat and it left my nails a lovely slick shiny black.

I grabbed out a few nail gems from a pot I bought on eBay (I cant find the original link but these look similar). I picked them out using some tweezers and put them to one side ready to place them on the nail. On the nail I decided to make my accent nail I popped a secondary coat on and then moved quickly to apply the gems before it dried. It's actually much easier than it looks to apply the gemstones as we aren't going for a uniform pattern it doesn't really matter where you place them. By using tweezers, I find its much easier to grab and apply these than your fingers as you can get a good grip before placement.

The finished look is a really glam simple but eye-catching manicure. The scattered look seems to look much better than applying them in a shape or pattern as you sort of want it to look jewel encrusted. I found the gems lasted a day or two before falling off  but if you wanted them to last a bit longer you could always use a nail glue to make them stick. This would be a perfect christmas manicure look so definitely keep this in mind over the holiday month!
