To create a look like this look prep your hair with your favourite dry shampoo. Then finger combed your hair back up into a high pony tail. Next, you could use a hair donut if you wanted a little more volume or you could just tease the hair with a teasing comb before shaping into a standard bun shape. Break it up a little with your fingers and finish with a little bit of matte texture spray like the Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce Texturising Spray.
This looks is heavily inspired by the Diane von Furstenberg AW14 show who wanted “a ballerina-inspired bun, but a ballerina in rehearsal”.
