A Nude collection from Illamasqua? I know what your thinking. Not that shocking from a beauty brand but when you remember that Illamasqua are normally known for their innovative and creative products to come out with a nude collection is a bit of a shock. I remember hearing about this drop when I was at the Illamasqua Glamore collection launch and was really excited. Nude lips are such a classic but getting the perfect shade is a challenge. The Illamasqua Glamore Nude Lipstick’s come in seven different shades of nude suitable for a variety of skin tones. The shades vary from warm to cool and light to dark, some have pink tones and some have brown undertones.

I have four shades including Rosepout, Starkers, Naked & Tease. Illamasqua Naked is a creamy nude which is very warm and slightly orange on me. I don't think this is right for my skin tone, but it'd work nicely on more golden skin tones. Illamasqua Rosepout is my personal favourite as it's a neutral pink brown with an everyday retro feel to it. Illamasqua Starkers is s soft pink with some brown in it - it feels so 90's and on trend. Finally, I have Illamasqua Tease which on me looks like porn star lips, way too pale on me! It's very 60's though which might work for some people's looks but not so much for me.

Illamasqua Glamore lipsticks are creamy and have a slight satin finish to them. Nothing too creamy or glossy but have a nice slip to them. They wear nicely and last a good 4-5 hours before needing a touch up. At £18.50, they are pretty pricey for lipsticks but if you want a nice nude to invest in I highly recommend checking out these shades. My personal favourites is Rosepout as it’s my perfect toned nude, but I do really like Starkers as well for that retro look.
