I've actually already talked about my new hair cut over on my other blog but I thought I'd do another one here explaining it a little more for those who dont actually read my fashion blog. I decided to switch my hair up a bit on the spur of the moment sometime last week. I wanted something a little softer, cuter and fresher. I've had what my stylist described as "rock n roll" blonde for ages, grown out roots and block bright blonde tones. While I absolutely love this look and it's pretty much me down to a tee, I just wanted a change. My hair was too long and just not working for me anymore.

I headed over to Four London, the gals who were responsible for my original hair chop to get it refreshed. To get the look we did a mixture of highlights and lowlights to create a more unique soft texture. I wanted my hair to be minky blonde with no yellow or orange tones and really stressed this. I dont like my hair when it has too much gold in it and like to keep it minky or ashy. My cut as inspired by Jane Birkin, Suki Waterhouse and of course Alexa Chung. I've been considering a fringe for quite a long time and I had visions of me regretting it immediately, but a week on I havent. My fringe can be worn full, to the side or lightly parted in the middle. It's the perfect length to get a variety of looks. I got my typical blunt bob to my collarbones just to give my hair body and get all those ugly dead ends off.

I think my hair looks a bit like Rod Stewarts sometimes so getting used to styling a fringe is proving to be a bit of a challenge to a fringe n00b like me! If you have any tips that might help me out then please leave them in the comments! Thank you!
