So as you’d probably know if you follow me on social media or over on my other blog then I went to Paris last week. I went on a lil press trip with Clarins (more on that soon), but after our Clarins Lab visit we were given some free time to experience Paris as we wished. After a whistle stop tour of Paris - Thanks to our awesome driver. Me and Milly decided to head to City Pharma and get some goodies.

Bioderma Crealine H20 Micellar Water is a classic item that people always say to pick up in France. While you can get this pretty easily in the UK, You get larger bottles for a fraction of the price you’d pay over here. I paid 15 Euros for two 500ml's, and the equivalent of that here is about £30, so essentially have the price. If you haven’t heard of Bioderma or Micellar Waters in the past few years where have you been? Micellar waters are all the rage and are pretty damn good at a pre cleanse. I also picked some of the Bioderma Wipes for lazy skincare days when I want the makeup off but really cant be bothered. They are pretty much just wipes soaked in Bioderma Crealine H20. A bit skin friendlier than your average wipe but not something I'd recommend using regularly.

One thing I knew I wanted to purchase that I know you cant get in the UK is La Roche Posay Serozinc. While I don’t really know what it is actually for when I bought it... All I knew at the time is people rave about it, plus you cant get it in the UK. It’s a spray toner designed to sooth and calm the skin before skincare. I’ve fallen in love recently with the La Roche Posay Cicaplast B5 balm, but I wanted something a little lighter as it’s a bit smothering on my combo skin. I decided to get the La Roche Posay Cicaplast which is similar but more of a serum (think the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo in texture). The Cicaplast range is the best for repairing the skin and aiding the heal time of wounds or angry looking spots. I absolutely love it for those post spot dry areas. I then bought Embryolisse Creme Lait Concentre, one of my favourite makeup base moisturiser combos. I'm surprised I've never talked about it before actually! I got a large size because I know it was a bit cheaper than it retails in the UK for!

The thing about French Skincare these days are that most of its available in the UK in either Boots or online. Escentuals have the best range of french skincare of any online shopping destination so I’d really recommend there if you wanted to get some of the items mentioned in this haul, apart from the Serozinc which you can get online some places, but I don't personally know where!
