NYX Matte Bronzer*, The Body Shop Honey Bronzer*, Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium
So... introducing, The Winter Bronzer. To me bronzer is an all year round product, not just something you exclusively use in the summer. It's all about how you use it You want something with minimal to no shimmer in quite a neutral tone. Nothing too glowy but still adds depth and shape to the face. I've been skipping the blush recently and been opting for slightly contoured cheeks. Here are my picks of matte bronzers for that Winter Sun look!
I've chosen the NYX Matte Bronzer while this us a little bit on the warm side (better suited for medium and olive tones), but it's completely matte and has a really lovely formula. It's butter soft and very pigmented, so you need a light hand. It gives a cheeky winter sun glow which really brightens up the face. Then we have The Body Shop Honey Bronzer, which is one is my personal favourite bronzer at the moment. Although it's a lot paler than the other bronzers I've picked, It's still very warming. Again it's completely matte but has a slight sheen on the face is really complimentary. If you're quite pale, this might be a good one to start with. Finally, I have the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder in Medium. This is a very neutral brown with a lot of cool tones going through it. Initially I thought this wouldn't work for me as it pulls very cool in the pan. However blended into the face with a contouring brush it gives the best structured cheek look I've ever seen. More of a subtle shadow than a glow or a line but it looks stunning and really adds shape to the face.
