This is more of a sneak peak post than actual reviews of the products, so I hope you don't mind! Last night I attended an event to launch the new Revlon Colour Burst Crayons and just HAD to share information on these. They don't actually launch in the UK until the 22nd January in Boots and 18th February in Superdrug, none the less I'm still eager to share!

First we have the Revlon ColourBurst Crayon Balm Stains and come in 6 different shades: Cherish, Crush, Rendezvous, Romantic, Lovesick & Honey. I think these are the repackaged Just Bitten Kissable Stains as the have the same names and feel similar on the lips. The balm stains leave a light stain on the lips once the glossy balm fades away. I wasn't a huge fan of these when they launched (see my original review). Not because there is anything wrong with them it's just due to the fact I didn't love the formula and I prefer brighter colours and matte finishes. And what do they launch... new shades and a matte formulation!

The most exciting part of this upcoming launch for me is definitely the matte balms. The Revlon ColourBurst Crayon Matte Balm comes in 10 shades including Complex, Unapologetic, Showy, Striking, Standout, Mischievous, Elusive, Shameless, Sultry & Audacious. I love the balm/matte hybrid as it makes them go on really easily and give a soft stain like finish. Nothing chalky or unwearable here! It's nice to see a matte lip crayon in the drugstore that isn't hard to work with and doesn't look cakey, dry or chalky on the lips. They feel really moisturising on the lips and pack a pigmented punch. I tried the shade Shameless which is a deep dark purple and I loved it.

Revlon ColourBurst Crayon Lacquer Balms are pigmented brighter shades which come in 10 shades: Vivacious, Enticing, Demure, Flirtacious, Provocatuer, Whimsical, Ingenue, Tease, Coquette, and Coy. These crayons are the most pigmented of the bunch and only take one swipe to be opaque on the lips. They feel butter soft without feeling greasy or slick on the lips. I found that they had a slight pearlescent sheen as it contains this formula contains shimmer reflects, which aren't noticeable on the lips.

All of the Revlon Colour Bursts have twist up packaging which mean you don't need a sharpener, and there is no waste. All three finishes have a light, refreshing peppermint scent, which I really love. It's refreshing and peppy on the lips. All infused with a "Triple Butter Complex" of Shea butter, Mango Butter & Coconut Butter. All are non sticky, non drying, lightweight and moisturising.

So in all it looks like the Chubby Lip Pencil trend is not dying down! I've only played with these on my hands and swatched a few from each formula on my lips. First impressions... not bad! I'll be swatching these all later on today and hopefully have them swatched and posted over the next few days if you're interested in the Revlon ColourBurst Crayons. Its such a huge launch of 26 different shades and 3 unique formula's, I just couldn't share my excitement with this one. Watch this space!
Are you exited about these?
