Laura MercIer Radiance Primer, Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer, The Body Shop Honey Bronzer*, Kiko Louder Nights Palette, Guerlain Eyeliner*, Essence Lash Mania Reloaded*, Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Floralies
As I'd finally used up the teeny 10ml size of the Laura Mercier Radiance Primer, it was time to go full size. I love this for perking up tired skin, bringing back a bit of radiance and blurring imperfections. Definitely an A+ when it comes to priming! When I purchased that I also picked up a new Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation as I needed a new colour. I was Cashew Beige in the summer, but now I've been matched to Cream Ivory, I genuinely couldn't believe what a big jump in colour it was! I dabbed on a few dots of Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer just to cover blemishes, and under my eyes but on reflection I wish I used a different one as the shade was a little off.
I've been skipping blush recently; instead just doing a nice sweep of bronzer. My bronzer of choice for me is The Body Shop Honey Bronzer. A subtle matte warm bronzer that applies like a dream, adding just the right amount of colour to keep me looking fresh and bronzed without looking over done. I've also been skipping my usual highlighters and keeping it matte on the face. I reached for the Kiko Louder Nights Palette for my eyeshadow, which has become a go-to for me over the past week. The palette contains 6 beautiful autumnal shades of shimmers and mattes, these can be mixed and match to produce a fair few looks. My favourite look with this is only using the lighter taupe all over the lid then and blending out. Very wearable daytime look.
As per usual I used my Guerlain Eyeliner to give my signature cat eye flick. Then I popped on some of the Essence Lash Mania Reloaded. This is a completely new product to me, and this was the first time I'd actually tried it. Essence Makeup is an international drugstore type brand, which has just launched in some Wilkinson stores. Their whole range is priced from 99p to £3.99, which I think we can all agree is a perfect price range. The brush on this was kinda odd and plastic-y although it really built the lashes up nicely to give good volume and lift. And to be frank... I really love it. It gave mega long lashes and really defined the eyes. I've never used a mascara that is so cheap that works so well.
To add a bit of peachy warmth to the lips, I used the Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Floralies. I really like this lip pencil formula, its creamy without being tacky and doesn't feel all dry and horrible on the lips like the other Nars Lip Pencils. It's a more orange peachy lip shade than other peach lipsticks I own, but I quite like how it warms up the whole face.
