Five for under £5 time again, This week I'm talking lips! Lipstick is my personal favourite beauty item and I think if there is one thing that the highstreet does well is lipstick. There are so many affordable, unique, varied and exciting products in Boots and Superdrug that you don't need to spend a fortune on lipstick. Plus, a girl can never have too many lipsticks! For the sake of this post, I actually went out and bought two old favourites as I'd worn the two down so much I couldn't photograph them. But I've reviewed all these lipsticks in full with swatches!
First up, Seventeen Miror Shine Lipstick in Beehive. It's the perfect glossy peachy nude and is a near exact dupe for MAC Hue. I've gone through countless tubes of this as it's one of the nicest nude's I own. Then we also have Natural Collection Rose Petal, this is honestly one of my favourite lipsticks, but I always forget about it. It's a lovely brightening nude pink which looks super flattering on my skin tone. The formula isn't the best but the colour is to die for, plus at £1.99 you cant complain about the price.
Bourjois Rouge Edition Lipstick in 03 is another must have drugstore peachy pink. It's so wearable and has a really lovely 60's vibe to it. I also adore the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 101, a pretty blue toned pink. Opaque in one swipe they glide on without enhancing imperfections to leave a matte satin finish on the lips. My last pick is Barry M Lipstick in 147 Peachy Pink, a bright peachy pink coral toned lipstick. Barry M Peachy Pink is highly pigmented, typically totally opaque in just one swipe. The formula is matte and creamy all while being slightly stiff at the same time. I don't find it drying, but I know a lot of people do find it a bit odd on the lips!
