picnic on clapham common
Another weekend another weekend post! Today me, Dal and Matt decided to have a picnic up on Clapham Common and enjoy the sun. Despite our initial enthusiasm (and big food plans!) we really couldn't be bothered to make fancy picnic food and decided to go on a Sainsbury's picnic-y food binge. We got a rotisserie chicken and a couple of baguettes, cheese (Boursin is the one!), salad-y bits and the pièce de résistance in the form of our chunky salsa. Which is basically onions, coriander, lime juice and loads of cherry tomatoes all chopped up, its awesome with plain tortilla chips. Delicious, even if I do say so myself! I wore a simple shirt from Zara, which I actually forgot I had but love so much, paired with some scalloped shorts and sandals. The shorts were actually only £18 from ASOS which shocked me a little as I didn't quite believe they'd be that price. They are so cute! I had to wear my my Prada "inspired" (read: knock off) sunglasses which I've had for so long but I don't think I've rocked them on the blog before. I really love the side detail as it's really fancy! Clapham Common was so nice today, although we did see a really bad argument and someone nearly got bottled. Just another day in London... The obscure photo of a crow is a Game of Thrones (or A Song of Ice and Fire) reference. 10 points if you get it!
Tonight were going out for drinks (preparing the Mojitos as I type!) so depending on how I feel tomorrow I shall update you on our goings on! I really love doing these types of posts at the weekend even though it does make my life look more glamorous than it really is! I did conveniently omit me doing my washing, changing my bed and going for an eye test!
