As far as single eyshadows go I never really purchase them, I always opt for palettes or more than one shade because they are generally more usable and cheaper. However on occasions I do have to splash out on singles, they do have to be exceptionally special! This Laura Mercier Illuminating Eye Colour in Fire Glow was one of those makeup items I saw and was like "SOLD".  Laura Mercier are probably my favourite brand of the moment. I love the simplicity and natural beauty of their brand.  Their Summer Collection- Folklore is possibly up there with my favourite Summer Collections of all time.

Fire Glow is a stunning coppery shimmery colour. It's a soft, buttery with luminous pearl finish, that is soft and bouncy with excellent colour pay off. The finish can be as metallic and bright if you pack it on, or you can simply use it as a wash of colour all over the lids. I personally like to lightly dust it all over my lid and then get a pencil brush and line the bottom lashes to make my eyes pop. I know coppers are really complimentary on my eye shade so I absolutely adore wearing them., I might actually do a post on my favourite copper eyeshadows as I do wear them so often.

Ever since I bought this Illuminating Eye Colour I've had so many compliments, I can't put into words how much I love it. It's just THE perfect eyeshadow for summer that will compliment tanned skin, brighten the eyes and really give that beautiful summer glow. I think I might even go as far to purchase the other two shades of Illuminating Eye Colour Sun Glow (pale gold with shimmer) and Earth Glow (a deep brown). I just love them. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. Did I mention I loved this?
