Today outfit was a bit thrown together last minute as time was ticking in (it's been one of those days and I haven't even tackled half my to-do list) but I actually quite like it! I like the subtle pop of neon at the collar and the way the nails and the jumper all contrast with each other.  I know blue and black is some kind of fashion faux pas in some circles but I think it can looking really chic when worn properly. Bright blue doesn't look as weird as say navy against black and it actually pops quite well.

Today also marks the 3 year anniversary of my best friends death. He died of stomach cancer at a young age and I took it quite hard. He was one of the nicest, kindest, most thoughtful, happy amazing people I've ever met. We'd been friends since we were kids, and he was pretty much the closest friend I'd ever had.  Now, Im okay with it but there isn't a day that goes past I don't think about him. He was the best person and I know it's easy to say but he really didn't deserve what he got. He was so inspiring and just so driven… I don't think its the type of thing you ever forget, but he's constantly in my thoughts and I know he's always looking after me and our friends. He was the best.  I just want to publicly thank the Macmillan Nurses who looked after him as well as Severn Hospice who looked after him too. I've been saying for years I need to do something to raise money for those charities and I think the time is now.

  16. I'm so funny about jumpers and how they are like tighter round the bottom but this one seems so loose and cosy, primark I go even thought it is meant to be warmer... not happening!

  23. The colour of the jumper looks lovely against your skin tone. I'm sorry to hear about your friend, he sounded wonderful and was taken much too soon. My boyfriend's mum passed away from bowel cancer about 6 months ago and there's not a day that goes by where I don't think about her, she was so brave.

The nurses do an incredible job. My boyfriend took part in movember to raise money for the hospice where she died, and his friends & rugby club also took part and raised money for the hospice which was touching.

Good luck with raising money for the charities, I'm sure with your profile online you'll be successful with raising money for it :). xx
