and other stories moire green nail polish review swatch photo

After seeing a few blog posts already (namely MegJen's) on the And Other Stories beauty department I decided to pop in on the way to my hair appointment. And Other Stories is a brand new store from the makers of H&M and COS and sits price wise somewhere between the two. The simplicity of COS with a lower price tag. I haven't had a chance to look at the clothes yet as I went in with the intention of looking at the beauty things first.

I picked up the nail polish in Moire Green, it's a beautiful soft pale green with a slight shimmer going through it. I don't normally like Shimmer finishes but it is fairly unnoticeable once applied.I chose Moire Green because I don't actually own anything similar to this and it's going to be the perfect creamy spring shade. Formula is slightly streaky but after three coats it does dry to an opaque finish. The brush is very wide (a bit similar to the Essie Diffusion Line nail polishes) which makes polish application absolutely effortless. One stripe per coat and you're done.

At £5 a pop, I put it in the same sort of range as Models Own in terms of nail polish quality. It's a good price for a nail polish and I would definitely buy from the range again. And Other Stories have some really unique shades on offer so it's worth taking a good look through their swatches. The Beauty Range reminds me a little of Topshop Makeup but slightly more luxe feeling, a little bit more grown up.

London's & Other Stories store is 256-258 Regent Street (close to Oxford Circus)
