Versace Crystal Noir perfume review photo tested notes fragrance
Versace Crystal Noir Perfume : £30*
According to Donatella Versace, Crystal Noir is a rare essence, sensual and delicate. The central note of the composition is mysterious gardenia, fresh, sensual, luminous and creamy, reproduced by 'headspace' technology. Amber and musk in the base make the scent dark and mysterious, very sensual and distinct. The fragrance was created by Antoine Lie in 2004.
Dark, Sensuous and warming

I've been thinking recently about changing up my perfumes as it gets into Autumn and then onto Winter. I tend to choose floral or citrus scents in the summer but prefer muskier and darker ones for the Autumn. With the name Crystal Noir I expected something muskier, grown up and a little darker, but actually found it to be very fresh, spicey but sweet perfume at the same time. Versace Cyrstal Noir has a slight coconut undertone but I mainly get notes of sandalwood, peony, gardenia and musk. It has a slight powdery dry down scent but doesn't feel too old or dated. On the skin it feels very warming and sensual, deep and sexy without being overpowering and musky. Crystal Noir has great lasting power and you can still get whiffs of it throughtout the day. It's actually one of the longest lasting perfume's I've tried which is always a plus point as I don't like topping up my perfume in the day. I think this is the perfect scent to wear on a night out or on cold winter days for some warmth and freshness. Overall I really really like this and cannot wait to wear it more! It's just the right mix of femininity and warm
