coming soon

I went along to the Rimmel Autumn/Winter preview a few days ago and I thought I'd share their upcoming launches with you. I've only really swatched most of these products so these aren't full reviews but from what I've been playing with I can tell you this is a really exciting drop from Rimmel in terms of quality drugstore products. I shall keep you all posted on my findings, some of the stuff has already launched but most of it is set to be released on October 3rd!

Up first are the metal rush nail polishes metallic polishes that have colour changing technology which they change colour depending on the light. Available in four shades Pearly Queen, Royal Blue, Purple Reign and Gold Save the Queen, These retail for £3.99. The new precious stones nail polish are basically glitter topcoats (right up my street!) Ruby Crush is a red jelly based polish with silver glitter and Diamond Dust is a sheer grey with holographic glitter in. Perfect for layering with other polishes and can be built up to be worn alone.

Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliners are long wearing eye pencils that come in 7 shades including black, silver, bronze, taupe, nude, bright blue and purple. These are waterproof, smudge proof and really long lasting. The swatches on my hand lasted for ages! I'm most excited about the nude pencil as I love putting white on my waterline but find it so harsh to wear sometimes. The Nude will open up the eyes without looking too harsh. These claim to last up to 10 hours so I'm gonna looking forward to testing these out! These retail for £3.99.

When I heard about the new Kate Matte Lipstick Collection I jumped out of my seat! I adore matte lipsticks so I knew this would be something I'd love to try. They are more of a matte-satin-velvet finish than a true matte but I think this makes it more appealing to a mass market. They are really creamy and easy to apply with minimal tugging or drag. Full smooth coverage on one swipe. My only complaint would be the synthetic taste, but I find most drugstore lipsticks don't personally suit my personal taste when it comes to scented products. These come in five shades ranging from a pale nude to a dark purple cherry red. My personal favourite is the mid tone pink shade #101. These retail for £5.49.

Also coming soon is an addition to the popular Wake me Up range from Rimmel is Wake me Up Instant Radiance these are shimmering skin enchanters designed to highlight areas of the face. These can be worn alone, over foundation or as a skin primer. They give a soft glowy radiant look. I really like the look of Shimmering Sands and I think paler girls could possibly get away with wearing Radiant Rose as a blusher. These retail for £4.99.BB Cream Beauty Balm as someone who isn't completely sold on the idea of BB creams I'm not overly excited about this launch. Claims to conceal blemishes, cover marks, smooths skin, mattifies and brighten all at the same time. I have to admit it isn't as tacky or dewy as some of the BB creams I've tried on the high street. Might be worth trying if you're a BB cream fan! This comes in two shades and retails for £6.99.
