topshop lipstick in satorial: topshop (£8)

Topshop Satorial is a bit different from what Im used to when it comes to lip colour. It's a bit bolder and redder than anything I currently own as I tend to wear pink, coral or nude lips. In the tube Satorial looks like a corally red lipstick, it isn't a true red but its very close. I'd personally describe it as a "watermelon" red, it has something about it that looks very "juicy" for lack of a better word! Nothing like I'd normally pick out when swatching things however there was something about this shade that drew me in so off I went to the checkout. Topshop lipsticks apply smoothly and easily with no tugging on the lips. The formula is described as velvet, which I would say its a mixture between a MAC Creamsheen and a MAC Matte. Its sort of semi matte but still has a touch of glossiness. I haven't found them to be drying or uncomfortable to wear. I don't think there is any noticeable smell or taste, which is rare for low end cosmetics as they seem to be pumped with tons of fragrance and scent.

I highly recommend trying any of the Topshop lipsticks if you get the chance. As I've said before Im a big fan of all the Topshop Make up. I have a fair few of their Lip Sticks (Pencil form) and then a few of their Lipsticks (traditional lipstick form) all of which I really like and wear on a regular basis. For £8 they aren't that cheap, but I feel they are worth the money as they are the one of my favourite cheap lipstick formulas and have such a wide and varied selection of shades!
