Quickie post before I run out the door to events. It has been a long day today, between working on my blogs, catching up on a weeks worth of emails and a submitting project and doing an unexpected phone interview while trying to wrap a present. I think I'm one of those people that thrive on being under pressure, I always seem to get more done when Im rushed! Hopefully going to these events and seeing my pals will a little bit of time to unwind!

This is the dress I wore to my grandparents 50th wedding anniversary party, but decided to wear it again today as I really like it. I didn't wear the leather jacket with it but it's a bit chilly in London today (although it's not cold or rainy!) So I thought I'd pop it on over the top. Initially I was a bit concerned about the dress when I bought it when I was shopping with Emma one day. It has a mumsy feel to it, but I had an inkling it would look better on than off. Which is so right! It has a wonderful neutral paisley pattern and a cute shift dress cut which hits me at the perfect length. I paired it with thick black tights and some flatforms to add to the 60's 70's vibe I was going for. Was a hit with the Grandparents and the family and a big hit with me! Just need to keep working on its cost per wear now! Currently at £35 per wear… EEP!
