17 Instant Glow Bronzing Powder
17 Instant Glow Bronzing Powder: boots (£4.59)
Another 17 product that I bought during a Boots binge! I don't often look at things like this but I'd forgotten to bring a contour shade with me when I went home for a few days so I thought I'd pick up a cheap alternative to tide me over. After swatching most of the 17 Bronzing Range (which is actually surprisingly good!) I decided to get the 17 Instant Glow Bronzing Powder.
I was drawn to the fact it was warm toned and matte. I have a lot of issues finding bronzers that suit my skin tone as I find ones like Nars Laguna really cool toned and make me look muddy. The 17 instant glow bronzing powder comes in two shades and I opted for the darker of the two called Medium Bronze. The light medium tone looks like it would be fairly light on most peoples skin even if you were really pale. The product is very brown/terracotta in shade, Even though its photographed quite orange it doesn't look as orange in real life, neither does it come out very dark on the skin. The texture is very smooth and blend-able and I wouldn't say its that chalky for a drugstore bronzer. The product gives a natural matte finish, There is no noticeable shimmer in the bronzer making it a perfect contour shade.
Ive been using this every day since I bought it and I actually really like it. I like the warmth it gives to my face, and it give a natural matte contour to the face. I've been applying it with a Real Techniques contour brush, but if you used a larger brush you could achieve a more even bronzed look to give natural warmth to your skin.
