Nars Bolero Velvet Matte Lip Pencil: house of fraser (£17.50)
Nars Bolero Velvet Matte Lip Pencil is a light pink with a hint of coral lipstick in pencil form. Its a creamy matte formula which I dont find very drying. I think it does settle quite a bit into lip lines if you look at it up close but its not too bad for "normal" distance viewing. Colour wise its my dream colour, I feel it suits my skintone really well and has a lovely matte finish. Sort of reminds me of a MAC satin finish lipstick, but creamier. I just think the formula itself is a little off though and could be much better, Despite it being creamy and smooth, i think can lead to it coming off a tad chalky despite it not feeling chalky or dry at all when being applied, which is strange.
If you wanted a drug store sort of dupe Barry M 147 is kinda similar in colour but less pink and more orange, which I dont think is as nice nice. The texture is completely different though as Nars Bolereo is a smooth creamy matte formula where as Barry M 147 is quite stiff and drying. I think it looks a bit like Illamasqua Obey, but not as coral as MAC Ever Hip.
