Kinda a gratuitous post because I'm purely posting because I like my makeup. Im wearing Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum cover, which I will be reviewing once I use it a few more times. But if you're like me and like super duper full coverage foundation, its definitely a winner. I have terrible skin at the moment due to not sleeping and eating terrible food for the last few weeks, so its doing the trick giving some luminous matte coverage!
Outfit was a bit basic today as I just couldn't be bothered as I had too much work to do. Grabbed whatever top was on to of my things in my drawers! I've never worn the top before, even though I bought it when I was working at New Look over 6 months ago on my final spree before I left! Wearing a mood ring makes me feel about 12 years old but it was quite cute so I just had to buy it! It didnt come with instructions so I cant tell my ~mood~ but tends to go blue on me! Probably means grumpy or something! Boo.

Your skin looks absolutely flawless, so I guess the foundation is doing it's job well! I look forward to the review, I need a good matte foundation. I'll be interested in knowing how it photographs in flash photography... I forever have a ghostly face :( xxx

ReplyDeleteI just got a sample of this foundation too. I love the coverage and the colour is absolutely perfect (which is a rareity for me). I find I get really shiny really quickly though (even with a mattifying primer), and when I use my blotting papers the foundation comes off in patches. I hope you have a better experience with it - I'm sure the shiny factor has a lot to do with the humidity here in Brisbane though.

I'm sometimes really tempted to try Estee Lauder double wear. But idk. I'm think I'm the opposite from you that you avoid Benefit because of the non-sleek packaging, but I prefer fun packaging as it makes it seem less snotty. That's probably just me though. :/
