hannah & I
001. My few days in Cardiff was good, dressing up as
Simba and having a slice of "student" life. Not particularly into the whole student get-drunk-bring-the-lulz lifestyle so I'm so glad that I've bypassed all that by studying at home. Its nice to do it once in a while I suppose, rather stay at home and sleep though! Was lovely seeing my friend Hannah (who was Robin Hood, Fox Version!) though! Today I've been doing university work and trying to work out what I want to do for my Final Project. Sun has been nice too, shame I didn't enjoy it properly!
002. Its my Birthday on Wednesday & I'm not really fussed about it, Birthdays never have meant that much to me. My eighteenth was the best, I had a surprise birthday party. I had no idea about it, but it was seriously one of the best days I've ever had.
003. I've got nothing to say. I'm in utter dismay I've got
nothing to say.
I love your costumes ideas :) Fab!

ReplyDeleteit looks like you had a fun time at the party! xx
Love this costume idea. And I know what you mean about the student lifestyle, during first year I was all for going out and getting drunk every day of the week, but now I'm in third year I'd much rather sit and have dinner and a few drinks with my friends.
ReplyDeletelove the face paint! :)
ReplyDeletedefinitely agree with bypassing the typical student lifestyle - the novelty of binge drinking has certainly worn off for me, and i'm only a second year!
x
I rate your costume idea!

Hello lovely!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you have a lovely birthday wednesday, birthdays never really were anything special to me up until my 18th, I vowed that every year I would spend my birthday in another country, last year was London, this year Paris...next year who knows!
I passed on the whole student life, I do couldn't do that full time, sleep-deprived Eda is not good...for anyone to see, there's only so much partying I can do without needing sweet dreams, good food and the comfort of my own home!
*following your blog*
Eda ♥
You both look adorable!
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel, I don't think birthdays are all that special once you're older than twelve.
But I do think you should enjoy your uni life, you can always be the sober girl and laugh at everyone elese, it's always a lot of fun...
You looked great as simba! Yeah the getting drunk lifestyle isn't really for me either. Call me sad but I much prefer a night in in my pj's watching telly than having a wild night out!
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute costume idea! Hope you have a lovely birthday:)xxx
ReplyDeleteAmaze costume ideas! I love the lion king.. :) x

ReplyDeleteThe smell of alcohol brings back the memory of so many awful hangovers. I've not had more than a glass or two of wine since graduating nearly 3 years ago, eurgh!

ReplyDeleteGreat blog btw, and happy birthday in advance :)
Your birthday is a day after James Franco's! haha obsession ;P Happy early birthday cutie! xo
ReplyDeletecute picture :)
ReplyDeleteadorbs!
ReplyDeleteGetting drunk definitely isn't everything but I've grown to absolutely love dressing up - that's why I like the student way!
ReplyDeletePlus I find it so much easier to get down and work if I know I can have a night out at the end of it to blow off steam.
I think it's such an individual thing though - some of my friends are still going out a few times a week (I'm in my second year) and some haven't been out since November.
Cute photo! Happy birthday for wednesday.
