I thought it was about time that I share a little more of my flat as its really starting to get to the point where I'm really happy with it and I actually want to show it off to the world! Here are some snaps of the space above my fireplace in my living room.
Obviously in my classic style I wanted to keep it monochrome and packed full of arty prints that reflect me and my interests. So I've got a Grumpy cat print, one of Simon and Garfunkel and Gin. Three big loves in my life. I then also have a print of Margot and Richie Tenenbaum from the bit where she goes "
I think we're just gonna to have to be secretly in love with each other and leave it at" as I really like the quote and Royal Tenenbaums is one of my favourite Wes Anderson films apart from The Darjeeling Limited (which isnt a popular choice, but I personally LOVE it)
The candle is actually really cool inside but I daren't burn it because its too adorable, but its got a metal skeleton inside so if you did ever decide to burn the candle it turns into a skeleton cat. It looks really cool to be honest but I just couldn't do it because the cat shape is infinitely cuter. tbh.
Im still not 100% happy with whats below the fireplace, I currently have a bunch of LED lights instead of a fire but it still needs a little something something to get it going. None the less Im really happy with this little nook from my home. Im finally getting to the point where its not just a house its my home and Im so proud of what I've achieved inside it! I promise I'll update with some more house shots soon!
