Skincare ain't my bag, I'm as basic as it comes when it gets down to skincare and I rarely use any products routinely apart from my beloved La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo. Heck, I still use makeup wipes 80% of the time.

Pixi Double Cleanse - £24

I may as well show myself out of the blogging community after sharing that. On the urge of Zoe and a lil bit of the ol’ Internet Hypetrain™️, I decided to pick up the much-talked about Pixi Double Cleanse, a collab with Skincare Goddess and all round skin care icon Caroline Hirons.

Touted as a cleanser that takes the fuss out of double cleansing all while packing a punch in the skincare department. Basically, it's a duo sided pot (50ml of each if we wanna get specific) consisting of two cleansers, one oil based and one creamy. One takes your makeup off and the other actually cleanses your face.

The oil side is loooooovely, so rich and creamy and makes light work of removing even the most stubborn mascara from your lashes. Step one is packed full of skin complimentary ingredients like Vitamin E, Camelia Oil and Evening Primrose Oil and of course totally fragrance-free. As for the creamy side, its light and refreshing and leaves my skin feeling super fresh and lightly moisturised.

If were looking for a negative side I feel like Im using this up far too quickly. I'm almost bottoming out on both sides and I cant say I've used it THAT much for it to be so low on product. 50ml sounds like a lot but Im not using more than the tiniest lil' nub and it still seems to be disappearing quicker than I'd like.

In all it’s a bit of a no hassle skincare all in one for people like me who are a bit lazy when it comes to the ol’ skincare routine but do care about their skin. I feel like it removes every single scrap of makeup from my face as well as keeps my skin in awesome condition. Caroline really knows what she’s doing and she’s not the type to stick her name on something that she isn’t 100% behind. Thumbs up.
