New in for summer from YSL is the limited edition YSL Palette Bleus Lumiere eye palette. Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent's love of the varying tones of the sea - the Summer 2014 look contains an array of punch blues, warm corals and greens.

I'll be super upfront, Blue eyeshadow just doesn't work on me. I have blue green eyes anyway so it doesn't really compliment them. However one shade within the YSL Palette Bleus Lumiere really caught my eye.

I swept the coral orange all over my lid and smudged under the eye for a fresh summery look inspired by the beautiful campaign imagery.

The eyeshadow's are pigmented and smooth and really easy to apply. The shades within this palette are electric, fresh, exciting and fun. The shade range is really original and totally versatile to create a variety of looks.

If you can get your paws on it then I also really recommend the YSL Blue Celadon Nail polish. A super bright blue which is sort of minty but also baby blue at the same time. Two coats and it's opaque smooth and long wearing.
