Here are some non-festival photos from our Trip. We spent most of our days chilling by the pool - my favourite thing to do on holiday. There is literally nothing I enjoy more than sitting by a pool and doing absolutely nothing. I wont terrify you with my bikini pics but here are a few snaps from when we went for a walk and some of our hotel!

I decided to pay for a hotel rather than camp - I just couldn't handle the idea of camping in the heat. So I booked the VIP Grande Lisboa Hotel and Spa as it had pretty good reviews and was a reasonable price for three nights. Plus it was one of the few hotels I could find that actually had a outdoor pool. The room was large, clean and very nice - I would definitely recommend the place if you're looking for somewhere to stay. It's super close to the airport too and not too far to the city center. Staff were friendly and really helpful too. The pool itself is actually really small but as the whole area wasnt very big it was never packed or crowded. We kept going in for quick dips but had to coax each other in because it was SO cold.

We also went on a stroll to buy some food and lots of water so I took a few snaps of the buildings, they are so pretty, unique and colourful. It made me want to paint our house a funky colour or tile it all pretty! After we'd stocked up on the essentials (Lays and Ruffles mainly) we chilled in our room and got ready for Optimus Alive.

Im glad I decided to get a hotel as the trip felt more like a holiday than when we went to Southside which was a "proper" festival experience. I've decided Im adding Portugal to my list of places I really REALLY need to go again. It's so beautiful and warm and relaxing and just my kinda holiday place. I kinda wish we did some touristy things but we both just needed the rest and relaxation time!

  34. It looks lovely! Love long photography posts!
By the way, do you use a case on your iPhone 5C? (or isn't it yours?) - anyways I have a 5C and it doesn't feel like I need a case but I had a 4 before which'd break so easily so I'm scared to switch! x

  37. Also, have to say that I watched your vlog today and I thought it was very nice. I hate how youtubers always have to filter everything in fear of upsetting a certain audience, but I'm happy you were straight up about everything. There is always going to be a negative backlash but I think you should stay strong and stick to your guns. It's hard to be in the eye of the public and hold relatively strong opinions, but remember that you do have an audience that supports you for being you and remembers that you're human, too.

  44. You should definitely come back to Portugal! We have such beautiful places to visit besides Lisbon, like Sintra (which is fairly near the capital), with its stunning palaces and forests and the Algarve (in the south) full of wonderful beaches and places to hang out! There's a lot more to visit, really! Great pictures by the way :)

  45. After being in relationship with emma for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should rather contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that never believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I mailed the spell caster, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by reffering him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email: oodliaspelltemple45@gmail.com you can email him if you need his assistance in your relationship or anything. CAN NEVER STOP TALKING ABOUT YOU SIR HIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS:oodliaspelltemple45@gmail.com CONTACT HIM NOW FOR SOLUTION TO ALL YOUR PROBLEM
