lavish habit - balham

Never the less today I picked myself up and went for coffee and lunch with my housemate Dal in Balham. We went to Lavish Habit, which is a place I’d been a few times before but this time I’d had some food there. Lavish Habit is sort of coffee shop / boutique hybrid. Selling a variety of household bits and bobs - Tat as I so lovingly called it. The decor is very feminine with a hippy junk shop style edge. A mix of vintage bits and contemporary pieces, although a little out of my price range it’s a good place to go if you have money to spare and want some nice bits. The thrift shop vibe and the hidden gems with the laid back coffee shop bode well for those in the sw12 postcode. It’s yummy mummy friendly without alienating the rest. They serve Monmouth Coffee, which is my personal favourite coffee and have a delicious selection of breakfasts, light lunches and cakes. I went for a cheese and tomato chutney flatbread and an Americano. The coffee was deliciously smooth with tons of flavour without a hint of bitterness. The flatbread was delicious, but also a little basic considering the price. Tasty though!
Oh my Gosh, this looks so good! I wanna live there :O :)
ReplyDeleteI have eczema, you should go to your GP and have him/her prescribe you the fucibet cream, the packaging is white and has a red and yellow stripe on it. It's quite strong so if you use it for about a week or 2 you should be fine, and then just use other creams regularly on parts where you have eczema.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute place, added to my list of places to visit now, always get the best ones from you Lily :) hope your skin goes better soon and you feel much better, I know how it feels with not being motivated when there's negatives but doing uplifting stuff like this is good to keep your head out of the blues :)
ReplyDeleteanyway hope it goes well soon :)

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear your eczema is getting you down ): I've got eczema on and off since I was a baby - I use Elocon cream prescribed by my doctor and it always clears it up quickly! It smells a bit like earth haha but is really effective, definitely go ask about it if you don't manage to find anything that helps (: x

Sometimes your diet can set off eczema, go to the doctors and get an allergy test to see if anything is triggering it. Mine was awful so went and found out I was lactose intolerant and told to avoid dairy and its cleared up xx
