my favourite winter scent: versace crystal noir review swatch photo


Last year I was introduced to the Versace Crystal Noir perfume and it quickly raised up the ranks as one of my favourite perfumes ever. Up there with Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess (long time readers will know how much I banged on about this!), Versace Crystal Noir is a perfume I can't live without.Especially when the weather turns, and it get all chilly. The fragrance has notes of sandalwood, peony, gardenia and musk. It has a slight powdery dry down scent but doesn't feel too old or dated. It's very musky, deep and sensual all while still feeling very youthful. I feel its ultra feminine while also having a slight musky, masculine edge. The lasting power is really awesome I always get whiffs of it throughout the day when other perfumes have long faded away.

It's a weird one this scent for me as it reminds me of my boyfriend at the time because he used to comment on when I wore it. Although saying that the scent of TreSemme Hairspray is something that a different ex used to say I smelt like... Its weird how scents remind you of periods of time in your life. I try not to let it put me off because it's honestly one of my favourite perfumes I've ever tried. I get so many compliments whenever I wear this and people always seem to notice. It's the perfect winter scent as its so warming and deep. I always feel super confident whenever I apply a few spritz's, it always makes me feel really really sexy. Love it.
