Rockit Vintage Dress
Finally, I get to do a nod towards winter. I'd make the winter is coming joke, but I recall I've done that already so many times on this blog. I've been thinking and thinking about what sort of winter coat I want to invest in for this season. As I love coats and boots (and Topshop, obvz) I always try to pick one coat and one pair of boots per season. This way I don't end up with a million coats (I still have a million coats) and loads of boots (yup, loads of them too). At least I try. I've had this awesome Topshop one for about two winters now, and it still feels as timeless and relevant as to when I bought it. It's just really classic. I remember at the time it was one of the most expensive things I'd ever bought at the time (I seem to recall it was about £120), and I gasped but vowed I'd wear it non-stop. Cost per Wear my friends. The best way to justify anything you want that's expensive. I do love this coat though, but the lining has all ripped, and the fur has started to go a little weird. I can't recall all the ways I've worn it, but it's definitely a gem in my coat collection.
I think this year I want one of those really long oversized boyfriend style coats that Zara seem to be doing. They look really warm and thick and again something that's super timeless. I also would LOVE to get one of those pretty powder pink coats, but I don't think I'd get enough wear out of it, so I reckon its one to look out for in the sales when they come back around. Ah coats, I love you.
