The last few days I've started looking more towards festival attire for inspiration as I've finally got confirmed tickets for a few UK festivals and I really cant wait to hit them up. The one thing I love about blogging is that I get these opportunities to go to things I love but I couldnt normally go to. Festivals being one of them, I just simply cannot justify the £150+ price tag. I've been going to festivals since I was about 16 years old and I've got so many stories I could tell you all about. But there are some that should never grace the internet because they are just so... wild. I was a party girl once. She says as she types this before going for afternoon tea with some friends and then shopping. Oh those were the days...
Anyway, the outfit. I saw this jacket on ASOS a few weeks ago and knew it had to be mine. I just couldn't quite justify it until I was back from holiday and I'd been paid. Few weeks later, and Im now the proud owner of one of the nicest jackets I've owned in a hell of a long time. It's a really lovely quilted material and the pattern actually reminds me of something I wore as a child. I was a pretty well dressed kinda kid! Paired with my favourite LBD which I wear with absolutely everything. For future reference if Im wearing a plain black swing dress it's more than likely going to be this one. I have a few of them from ASOS. Mine are all size 6 (not that I am size 6 let me point that out), so definitely size down as ASOS love their oversized stuff to be just that. Tent like. Paired with my chunky Arabel boots, floral crown and a splattering of rings this outfit just is the perfect summery, festival inspired outfit.
When Ella and I met to take photos I said to her that I wasn't going to squat. I don't know why but there is something about doing a slut drop on a blog that doesnt sit well with me. However the shots of my crouching ended up being some of my favourites we snapped while we did this shoot up on Clapham Common. I'm really enjoying these more aesthetically pleasing style photos, hopefully if I get a good enough response me and Ella will do this more often!
I never know what the best time to post a new post is? What are your viewing habits like? I read blogs all day everyday so Im in two minds about when to actually post! I tend to post around 6:30 normally, but seeing as I had this post ready and typed (I was super excited about sharing the photos as well!) I thought I may as well post it now! Thoughts?
PS. I've also made the photos on this blog bigger, it'll take a few days for my ads to adjust but hopefully seeing larger photos is a bit nicer!
