Escada Cherry in The Air is perfume is unlike any perfume I've tried before. I think this is because I've never tried anything so… fruity that doesn't smell horribly synthetic? I get the notes of Cherry and Raspberry almost immediately and it feels so fresh and up lifting. Then it dries down to a marshmallowy scent with underlying notes of Sandalwood and Musk. It is light, girly and airy with a really youthful peppy feel to it. I thought that for such a red berry inspired perfume I actually didn't find it that sweet/tart/sickly. Fresh is just the perfect way to describe it because it actually smells of cherries. I always think Cherry can smell rather fake, think that horrid synthetic cherry smell/taste you get in cheap lip balms. However Cherry in the Air is really juicy and just screams summer ripeness.

It's really crisp and natural, it really makes me think of carefree summer days. It's joyful, youthful and feminine. I think this is going to be a perfect transitional fragrance for me as it's just perfect for spring. While I do think on paper Escada Cherries in the Air is one of those perfumes I'd read the description of and think that I probably wouldn't like it. Despite this I am pleasantly surprised though and it's getting a thumbs up from me! I'd say if you're a fan of perfumes like Juicy Coutures Viva La Juicy or Dolce&Gabbana Pour Femme then this might be worth trying out. Defintely worth a spritz or two!
