Went shopping with Gh0stparis today, spending money we didn't have on things we dont need. As you do. She took me to Wagamamas which I can confirm was very good, was my first time too! I actually wore this outfit on Saturday to Westfields and these were the test shots I quickly did in my new room. Not too bad, dont like the carpet because it casts a grey tone over the image and wearing shoes on carpet is really bad, but for the sake of people who need to see the shoes We'll have to roll with it! Also this was the day after I moved in so it could do with a good hoover!
If theres one thing I hate more than fake pockets, its fake buttons. This Primark shirt is lovely but gapes at the neck as it needs another button just to hold it all together. Just seems so silly having buttons on the outside that actually dont do up all in the name of "detail"!

love the shirt! xxx
ReplyDeleteyesss, i also lovelovelove your blouse!

ReplyDeleteCuuute! I'm hoping to go to Wagamamas when I go to Aberdeen on Monday :D
ReplyDeleteI bought this blouse from Primani at the weekend and got a discount due to a rip down one arm (Primakr quality eh!), I love it and because of the monochrome scheme it's so easy to team things with. I agree with you on the buttons point, and I also find the cuffs at the wrists are quite tight and it's not like I have fat wrists?! http://simplesophiecn.blogspot.com/ ox
ReplyDeleteI looove your Hair! <3
ReplyDeleteugh so jealous of your figure. when i wear outfits like that i just look frumpy :(

ReplyDeleteSecrets Of A Trolley Dolly.
My friend has a couple of Primark shirts that have the same problem, it's like they just didn't factor in boobs! We just but a little stitch in between each button and used a safety pin at the top one or she couldn't get her head through haha.
ReplyDeleteWagamamas is delish right!? I only went for the first time maybe a year or so ago, I'd been missing out!!
http://www.rafflesbizarre.blogspot.com
I picked up a shirt almost identical to this in primark today, haven't tried it on properly yet! Also share your hatred of fake buttons so hope I don't have that problem!
ReplyDeleteabbi xo
Your hair is so incredible!! love the outfit xx
ReplyDeleteLove the blouse!
ReplyDeleteI picked up this shirt when I went to Primark last but put it back as I grabbed a faulty one + couldn't be bothered to go get another! Kicking myself now, it looks amazing!xo

Love this whole outfit :) And I love Wagamamas x
ReplyDeletethe shirt is so cute! x
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the weird buttons. :/ But I still love it, I wanted a polka dot shirt likes this for ages, was pleasantly surprised with this cheap primark find! Usually their clothing just fits or feels weird, but the sheer fabric just feels really lovely I think.
ReplyDeletei was really impressed with it, feels muc hmore expensive than it was!
DeleteI love this outfit on you and your hair looks so pretty! The shirt is on my must have list but I honestly don't get fake buttons either!
ReplyDeletewishfulsinfulyou.blogspot.com
Fake buttons? I've never had that but that does sound more annoying than fake pockets, which half the time are real pockets but sewn up.. It looks lovely as does your hair.x
ReplyDeleteis just one of those buttons thats there but serves no function! sewed up pockets annoy me so much! i just dont see the point! thankyou!
Deleteyou look so pretty, and i love this outfit :)
ReplyDeleteyoure so cute, i love your blouse!!

Completely different to other comments, but your hair looks amazing in this photo! I really want to try the ombre look on myself, but it might come out slightly strange because I have natural red hair. As soon as all my college work is done, I am most definitely going to try follow your blog post about what works for you, & investigate whether it'll do for my hair :) x
ReplyDeleteive seen it on a few red heads and if its subtle then it looks really nice! best of luck!
DeletePrimark always make funny niggles like that! it is a lovely top though. I was just wondering, it is waist length or hip? I hope that makes sense!? haha. OH how are you finding the lighting in your new place? My flat is awful for it, especially on days like today!! I suppose it depends on your window size though! Great look :) xo
ReplyDeleteits sort of hip length on meand i have a shortish body though! lighting is so so! still need to work out the right time to take shots! i have two large windows but my room is quite long and narrow so the lighting isnt quite right! gotta keep trying!
Deletethis looks lovely! love polka dots. i recently went to wagamamas for the first time too, i can assure ill be going back! :) theres a recipe book too which my boyfriend has, yummmz.
ReplyDeletei know you like the odd vintage piece so if you get the time check out the shop ive just started out! its pretty bare so far but im working on it! :/

ah so sweet, it's really interesting that you say about doing test shots now you've moved. i'm v. new to this and i'm still trying to work out the best way of taking pictures for the blog... think it might be time to invest in a new camera! xx fc
ReplyDeletefacelesschic.blogspot.com
think the best thing to do when your starting out is just to keep testing and trying to find the right lighting and timings to take your photos, once its sorted yo can just seem to get it right every single time. best of luck!
DeleteAdorable little blouse! I love the way that I didn't even realise it was a new set up until I realised you had moved. Duh moment I know, but I applaud how consistent you are with background!
ReplyDeletexoxo
haha thankyou! i wish it was the same every single time! it annoys me that lighting changes constantly! still learning to adapt though!
Deletecute :)
ReplyDeletefollow my blog and i will follow you too!

Lovely outfit, your hair looks fab! Firstly, I have the same problem with my carpet, I don't think it photographs well at all. Secondly I feel your pain with fake pockets and buttons!
ReplyDeleteit just looks a bit ugly i think! I wish my floor was wooden but beggars cant be choosers! least i have a house and all that!
DeleteGlad you're having such a great time in LDN settling in well etc :) one of the reasons I never used to do OOTD's is because I hated my old carpet ha-ha yours isn't too bad at all plus all the focus is on those gorge shoes anyway ;)
ReplyDeletePolka dots are potentially going to out number floral numbers in my wardrobe soon, which considering the HUGE amount of floral pieces I've amassed is quite a feat. This blouse is lovely! I bet the button is annoying for you but something no one else would probably ever notice. Super cute skirt too love a fellow skirt loving blogger, makes me less ashamed that I never set foot (leg?) in trousers!

awh thanks! I love polka dots at the moment! its really noticeable when im standing up straight because they sort of gape at the front because it needs a little more boob space for it not to! i'm sure i'll fix it with a safety pin or two!
DeleteLove this ensemble! Such a pretty blouse :)
ReplyDeleteanother day to wander
OOhhh I should give Wagamama a try too, I've been reccommended constantly to make a visit. And I love the polka-dots :D
