sunday portrait week 75

001. So tired and its VERY late, But tradition is tradition! I feel like I've worked my ass off this week, Not only with going to London, I've done so much university work and been gymming it full force! Joined in with a very enlightening and thought provoking #bblogger chat that Fee organized as well as super fangirled over The Strokes at Radio One's Big Weekend! Next week I'm just doing university work all week, The count down to final days has well and truely begun!

002. I've finally decided to get rid of the Ombre and go either blonde or totally deep dark brown, I havent booked the appointment yet though! Im kinda scared! My hair is my natural colour apart from the Ombre, Obvz. I just think Ombre has had its day now, seems a little passe now that everyone and their Mum has it. My step Dad even had bit of natural ombre hair when we were on holiday last year as the sun had made the tips of his hair blonder where his hat wasnt! Oh how I lolled!

003. I bought a pair of jeans today, cropped ones from Primark. I actually kind of like them. I don't wear trousers, like I mean ever. Seriously the last time I wore jeans properly was about 2005!  I might do a outfit post with them if I do decide to keep them. I'm still not 100% sure about them though!

004. I've become obsessed with watching competetive eating videos on Youtube, Sometimes I worry about my internet history. I really read and look at the oddest things on the internet!

  5. ahh bowie! i have that top too, what a babe! ugh yes, ombre is very overdone! schoolgirls come in to my work buying dye to get it done (probably having watched your YT video) and it's a bit like "um a year or two too late bbz!" i think you'd look amazing with dark brown hair, i love your natural colour so something near that would be lovely.

  8. the pictures from last week were really nice!
i have to say i that i am of of those people who really like ombre hair and though it looks amazing, it`s everywhere, its like animal prints and other accessories we have seen around for a while now. its too muc, internet is great and we have a unbelievable great access to information, still destroys individuality though.
you are one of the few who still wear not super expensive clothes, and stll look unbelievable cute! i am a big fan! have a great week!

  15. Oooh yay for new hair, I have been bleach blonde for a whiiile now and craving going dark brown. I think you'd look lovely blonde or dark brown. Excited to see which you choose.

Yay for jeans, I wouldn't have noticed you don't wear trousers until you said that and now I can't wait to see an outfit post with those either!!

Good luck with your last weeks at uni, it's weird to finish and suddenly have so much time. Even when I had a fulltime job it wasn't like the work load at uni!

  17. Blonde would look fantastic! It's all about ombre nails this year :)
I tried on some cropped jeans from Primark the other day, didn't fit me though :\

  18. blonde definitely! blondes have more fun!

  19. I would say go for brown. I think blonde is so hard to keep up and completely wrecks your hair. Changing it back is difficult to do!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I think you should go darker, it would really suit your colourings I think...but that's just my opinion :) Competitive eating?? sounds very strange! ha! xxx

  21. i think a caramel blonde would look beautiful! <3

  22. HAHA! I love the Epic Meal Time guys the most, check 'em out! They eat the most ridiculous things, and they have a calorie counter in the corner, racking up the millions of calories! Great :)

  23. My hair´s also naturally ombred itself as i let it grow out and not touching up the roots. That was last January that i dyed it so the brown´s long enough to have the ombre effect.

But Lily PLEASE don´t put permenent colour in your hair ! Get semi ! Seriously, waiting for permenent colour to grow out is a nightmare because after a few weeks, hairdye fades to an orangey tone and you have to be constantly re-dying to get that tone away. Semi-permenent is so much better !

And i´m turning like you about never wearing trousers either. In the last 3 weeks at school i have only worn skirts every single day. I just hate how jeans feel now. :s But now i think everyone at school looks at me because in Germany nobody wears skirts -.-

  24. Oh god, I don't think I can ever look at butter again!! Loved his careful portioning of it first though - that's a caring competitive eater right there :P

Good luck with the uni work m'dear - I'm reaching the same point with mine, less than 2 weeks now til it's over - TERROR. Can't wait for summer though - I might have to give your dad's natural ombre-ing trick a go :P x

  30. Judging by number 4 you are a 'man vs food' fan :D! Looking foward to seeing your new hair, it will fab whatever colour you got for (:,xx

  31. Ooo blonde or brown, I always flux between light blonde and dark brown currently rocking the bleach blonde! I think you will look great either way.

I'd be interested to see how you would style the cropped jeans too, I really want some pink ones but not sure how they would work. Worried they would like a little childish.

  32. do what color you feel best in!
just remember, it is easier to go brown than blonde.
so if you do blonde you can go brown in one step, but it will be multiple steps from brown to blonde.
and it is ever so frustrating! haha.

    hope your weekend is well.

    ReplyDelete
  33. really nice pic, I'd just say , do them brown is much more easier and less frustrating!..
I have my weird moments with youtube too..

  34. Deep, dark brown sounds good, it does seem that ombre is a right of passage for every blogger out there! x

    ReplyDelete
  35. I think dark brown would look best, especially if you want a big change. I hope you dye it brown, would love to see what it looked like. Ombre hair I've been tempted to do it, I wouldn't say it had its time, I mean its just a hair colour

    Good luck with uni

  37. I really like your ombre hair, but if you like to change it I'd go for blonde. I think that would really suit you.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Your ombre hair is gorgeous but I know what you mean that everyone has it! I think either blonde or dark brown would look good on you :) hope your uni work is going okay! :) Looking lovely as per :) x

  39. I love you hair but i think you would suit both blonde or brown - look forward to seeing the result (and the jeans!)

  40. I've had ombre issues for SO long. I've wanted to it since about September last year, but I never got round to it/was too worried seeing as I'd never coloured my hair/wanted to wait until after my leaver's ball. I felt like any excuse got in the way and now, just as I'm about to leave school forever, it's probably past it's time. I might still go for it. Otherwise I'm having similar issues to you - brown or blonde!

  43. Finally, so glad to see someone else championing saying goodbye to ombre hair!

    ReplyDelete
  44. oh but i love the obre so much...sad..

  45. I think dark brown would really accentuate your eyes beautifully, but then a lovely Mary-Kate Olsen blonde would look amazing too! You're definitely one of those people that could pull off any hair colour, I'm leaning towards a dark chocolately brown though, it would look gorgeous. x

    ReplyDelete
  46. Ooooh I think blonde would look great on you! But then, you have dark eyebrows so maybe brunette? Hmmm...
Eating competitions? HAH that made me lol x

  47. I think you'd suit the blonde that you have but all over of course. Dark brown would look lovely too and it can look so shiny.

  48. I have just bought pants, too, and I never wear pants, but these ones are white and wide and flattery, so that they almost look like a long skirt, although I'm not a fan of maxi skirts. Dunno, just love them. Every girl need a pair of pants in her closet, even if she doesn't wear them. I have about ten^^
